I got a chance to drive a Z06 back in 2005. At that time the Z06 power was in the 400 horsepower range, but it felt very powerful and fast.
The 2012 Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition packs more than 500 horsepower and is a lot quicker. I like the looks and the overall feel of the new vette.

2011 Chevy Cruze
Chevy is back in the diesel game within the small car market. This seems kind of odd to me since they have been promoting the Volt and already has the ECO Cruze that gets 40MPG.
Chevy (and GM) already has a checkered past with diesels. Most of us old enough to remember the gas engines that were rushed to market as diesels in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Those engines lasted less than 50K miles and were very unreliable.

2012 Chevy Camaro Convertible
Looks like Chevy really got it right with their new Camaro Convertible. Although i like the camaro coupe, the bunker feeling and awkward interior design has really kept me away. Although the interior remains, the sleek design of the exterior with the top down is a game changer.
Mustang has owned the american convertible market for many years and also the pony car market for that matter. That may be changing, although the mustang is a great car, the rear design and the live axle (although set up well) is a negative in this field.
It looks like sales continue to trend towards the camaro. Take a look at these numbers posted at Camaro5.
