Go large or go home. Apparently, Mercedes is looking to stuff the 5.5L V8 into the SLK roadster. This should make for a quick and exciting car, except this will be installed without the turbos. Either way, this car will be fast! I would be concerned about front-end weight, but I am sure Mercedes will do all they can to balance this car well.

2012 Audi A5 and S5

Ok, I have to admit that my blog is starting to look like an advertisment for Audi. I guess I am really buying into what they are selling. Although I am turning into a big Audi fan, I am still a bit puzzled by their engine options. The 2.0 turbo, although a great engine, seems small for a mid size luxury sport vehicle. Audi has the 2.5 turbo that is available in the TT RS, why not put that in the A5?
