2012 Chevy Camaro Convertible

Looks like Chevy really got it right with their new Camaro Convertible. Although i like the camaro coupe, the bunker feeling and awkward interior design has really kept me away. Although the interior remains, the sleek design of the exterior with the top down is a game changer.

Mustang has owned the american convertible market for many years and also the pony car market for that matter. That may be changing, although the mustang is a great car, the rear design and the live axle (although set up well) is a negative in this field.

It looks like sales continue to trend towards the camaro. Take a look at these numbers posted at Camaro5.

2012 Toyota Celica?

Looks like Toyota will bring back the Celica model, but only outside the US. I am not sure why Toyota has taken this tact, especially since the Celica was always known as a fun, sporty and somewhat inexpensive car to own and drive.

Inside the US, Toyota will market this car as a Scion (FT86?). It seems to me that we have been looking at teaser photos and reading rumors since day one. I hope Toyota and Subaru can get these cars to the dealerships soon. They seem to be getting old already!

2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0

Confused about how Porsche names their cars? Well, me too. For 2012 Porsche has updated the GT3 with a slightly larger engine (3.8 to 4.0) and increases horsepower from 450 – 500.

If you have about $190K and need to get the office really fast, then this is the car for you. If I had this car I would be anxious to head off to work each morning! Take a look at what Car and Driver had to say.
