True American Classics.
There is nothing like driving a big heavy classic American car. They are solid, smooth, easy to drive and more importantly… usually easy to fix!
Anyone collecting an American classic knows how much prices increase year over year. This is especially true for some of the more well known classics and muscle cars of the 60’s and early 70’s. …
Although I love Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers and GTOs as much as the next person, I have a fondness for some of the less sought after cars.
One of my favorites is the 1964 Cadillac pictured here. The 64 Cadillac still had the prestige and quality of the earlier Cadillacs, but without all the flash. Gone were the outrageous fins, replaced with some that are more inline with a luxury vehicle of the time.
Other favorites include the Buick Riviera (1963 – 1969), the Oldsmoblie Toronado, Caprice Classic (1966), Mercury Cougar, Chrysler Imperial and the Pontiac line-up of Bonneville, Catalina, Grand Prix and Ventura. All with great lines throughout the 1960s.
What are you favorites from the 1960s and early 1970s?
