For Tesla, green equals fast!

It’s no secret that electric vehicles can be fast. The first EVs from GM, more than a decade ago, were pretty quick. I had the opportunity to drive several electric vehicles in the 1990s, including the EV and even a full electric Ford Ranger.
Just a bit too tame Lotus.

2011 Lotus Evora
I was excited a while back to hear that Lotus was working on a slightly bigger car. Although the Elise and Exige are nice looking, quick at relatively reasonably priced, they are far from being livable on a daily basis.
The Fiesta just keeps getting better
If rumor has it correct, Ford is on the right track. A recent article at Motortrend suggest that Ford may be looking to add a true coupe to the new Fiesta line-up. This would follow the sedan and 5 door hatch-back currently seen running around the US. In my opinion the Coupe would be a great addition to Ford. The rumored 2.0L with Ecoboost would add power to a small and expected light weight coupe…

With companies like Tesla and Fisker new auto ventures are proving that you can have a fun and unique ride and still be environmentally friendly. Take a look at this article from autobloggreen.com. 2009 Nissan 370Z!
The soon to be released 2009 Nissan 370Z is ready for prime time. With horsepower in the 330 range and with a slight reduction in curb weight, the new Z is aiming for the Porsche Boxter and Cayman. Will the public be ready for a base price of over 30K?
The new Nissan 370Z will has a smaller and somewhat controversial look. The boomerang type lights are something that may take some time to get use to. Expect the new Z’s pricing to get near the $40,000 range for fully-loaded models.
