What is going on at Toyota and Honda? I just don’t get their designs. I understand not taking too many risks, but that was a good idea when they were far ahead of the competition in quality. Hyundai must be thinking… I’ll drink your milkshake!

2010-Ford-Focus-ST-Concept

How aout a 380HP Focus? That’s the rumor. The question is how much will it cost? At what point is it cheaper to go with a 6 or 8 cylinder car? I know, that’s not the point, but I am not sure I would pay more than $25K for ANY Focus!

2013-Lexus-GS-350-rear-three-quarters

The new Lexus GS 350 has a great look, but does it have the power to match? Lexus claims a 5.7 second zero to 60 time. It appears that this is basically the same engine as in the Camry. Lexus has also decided to drop the V8 version in favor of a more powerful hybrid vehicle.

Lexus will introduce an F version of this vehicle, but without not any more power. Why not throw a turbo or two at the F version and make it an M fighter. Considering this is Lexus’ sport version, I just dont get it.

Ferrari really hit the mark with this new 2012 Italia Spider. Sleek, fast and oh so Ferrari! I need to have everyone donate a dollar to my Ferrari fund.

Would you want this car? I guess my answer would be yes, but not at $75K! But, Ford does have the right idea. Sporty and fun cars will always have a market even when gas hits $5 per gallon. (Sorry folks, this car is not coming to the US)

I am a big fan of Audi and I really like the A4. It has a conservative yet sporty look to it and you just can’t beat an Audi interior.

Here is the biggest problem, the front wheel drive version only comes with a CVT when equiped with the Automatic. I am not a fan of CVT transmissions, I would rather have the DSG. You need to move up to the Quattro to get the 8 speed auto option.

I do like the 2.0 engine. Just add an APR tune and you have a car that will get you in the mid 5s in 0-60 times.

I am not a fan of Infinity’s/Nissan’s designs. I like the G37, but it took me a while to think it was actually an improvement from the G35. So here are the Infinity SUVs. I bet they are nice vehicles, comfortable, perform well.. etc. I just can’t get past the looks.

I have been waiting to see the new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Althought it looks good, I was surprised to see how heavy this thing is. Over 5000 pounds! From reading the article, it appears the weight doesn’t outwardly affect the vehicle, but If this vehicle was 1000 pounds lighter it would be an exceptionally fast and capable SUV.

What gives Chrysler? This is a newly designed vehicle! Take a look at what Motortrend had to say:

I really like the Ariel Atom. I haven’t driven one, but they sure look fun. i just can’t understand why they are SO expensive.

Can’t someone make a version in the $20K range? Light weight, stock Honda or Toyota engine and basic features. I just don’t get the cost.

I like the look of the new Buick Regal GS Turbo. Here is the problem I have, I can’t see myself paying $35K – $40K for a Buick. There … I said it. Buick no longer is a performance company. They spent years catering to the over 60 club.

Now they want buyers, and yes at least for a while they will be older buyers, to choose a performance buick over say a Lexus or BMW.

Good luck Buick, I don’t care how good your cars are, this will be a hard sell. Take a look at what motortrend had to say.
